Chemical processing is a process in which a mechanical system is used to control a chemical process.

Adaptive's team of engineers can help you evaluate your process and make a determination if automation is a feasible way to improve quality, safety, economy, and reliability of a process.
Processes that can be automated include:
- Dipping
- Chemical Stripping
- Spraying
- Coating
- Spin Coating
- Etching
- Plating
- Electroforming

Example:

A leading fiberoptic company required sulfuric acid stripping of a fiber optic cable. Hot sulfuric acid at 130˚ C. was used to perform the operation. The system integrated our QuickCoil forming unit, an automatic cassette loader, a cassette handling system, a self regulating and replenishing acid tank, a rinse tank (with automatic fluid control), a fiber cleaner, and a 35˚ power microscopic vision system of the cleave, with an accept and reject system.
